Work has been extremely busy in the month of October. I was practically working 7 days a week. Such life!
I have no time for anything. Even my korean dvd dramas are put aside for the time being. Although I am very frustracted at things at work but I’m learning a whole new things altogether in the new role. With the economic downturn, guess I can’t complain much. Whatever I learn now will up my market value when I job hunt when the economy bounces back.
The man & I are also getting closer these days. His mother is still in the hospital. Poor thing. He has the shuffle between home-hospital-office-hospital-home every day. He also has no time to meet me. We have to communicate via sms/calls everyday.
How’s time flies. In about 2 months, we will be ending year 2008. It feels like yesterday we were just doing the countdown. With the economic downturn, I guess I won’t be spending much this year. In fact, I only made one trip to Hong Kong this year. I’m going to keep as much as my bonus this year in preparation of next year. We were already told that business for next year will be bad for us. And we are cutting our annual increment!
Sigh! I guess, it’s better to have a minimal increment (or for some people, no increment at all) than losing the job. So I am thankful I still have my job and having my monthly salary credited into my bank.
