Busy Weekend

It’s been a long time since I get so busy for the weekend! It all started on Friday when I went to watch The Dark Knight, which is a disappointment for me! The movie is too draggy, and not exciting at all. The movie started at 8.30 pm and ended at 11.15 pm. I almost fell asleep towards the end. The only good thing that save this movie is Heath Ledger which played the Joker. He was so good! Christain  Bale as Batman looks so helpless besides Heath.

Saturday & Sunday is the Batam Trip with the girls. Just a rest & relax time. This time round, we stayed at the Harris Resort. Nothing fantastic. Pretty boring if you asked me because nothing much to do. Just lazed at the pool with loads of magazines and ipod. The spa which we did outside (not with the hotel) is very good though! 2.5 hours of body scrub, massage, milk wrap, herbal steam and a jacuzzi bath for only SGD58! Its a good deal!

What a way to start the day and week! When I stepped out of the office this morning, it started to pour heavily and being a very “kan cheong” person, I walked too fast and fell right at the bus stop! So malu!!!! Everyone is looking at me. Lucky nobody laugh out loud.

The fall is pretty bad … have to u-turn and walked back home limbing … Whan I reached home, both knees were already swollen and left knee is bleeding …. Also scratched my palm when I slipped … haiz … really bad luck …

Just came back from the doctor and he was shaking his head … saying I need to walk s.l.o.w.e.r.

Darn!

Bag Hook

I read alot of local fashion mgazines, but Elle has never been one of my to-buy/read list every month. While shopping at Vivo this afternoon, and went in to PageOne for a quick browse, I was surprised  that Elle Singapore July issue is giving away the bag hook.

Although it is not as pretty as those from Chanel, but they are sturdy and look pretty alright. I was quite excited to get this and have been wanted to buy one but didn’t because I’m not willing to part so much money just for a bag hook! Now, I got this hook at $6 plus a fashion magazine to read! Hmm … thinking whether I should get another one? =P

The only thing I wish they could improve is that the hook could be slightly longer. Currently, only certain height would allow the hook to work.

Red Cliff

Went to watch Red Cliff on Friday night. Not a bad movie … was pretty long .. 2.5 hours. Takeshi Kaneshiro playing Zhuge Liang is such an eye candy and looks so droolsome. Tony Leung is only ok. I think Takeshi acted much better than Tony in the movie. Besides a few eye candy, there are lots of fighting scenes, manificient scenary and very strategic war tactics.

The only thing I don’t like is …. have to wait for Part 2 for the ending!!!! What an anti-climax lor … the ending is super stupid!!!! One more thing .. no matter how beautiful 林志玲 is, I cannot stand her baby-doll like voice!

Run Run Run

The fist thing I did to change my lifestyle is to start my love of jogging. I even signed up and participating the up-coming Nike Human Race 10k Run. Many friends and colleagues are surprised that I’m actually going to run! I’m even cannot believed it myself that I actually did it. Ha ha ha …. This will be my first competitive run. I must be mad and not thinking straight the day I signed up!!! I have always enjoy running … just didn’t do it regularly and competitively ….
 
Why of all the Nike Human Race Run? Well, I guess, first of all, its a global run , meaning they have this run in almost all the major cities and everybody run on the same day, even same time I think. Secondly, its for charity, even though I feel the pain of paying $48 for the run, but its for a good cause. Thirdly, some of my friends are participating and they are encouraging me to do so ….
 
Well, since I have not been running regularly for the past 1.5 years …. I really need to train hard for 31 August!!!! Had my first run on two days ago, and oh boy, my legs were so sore the next day. Going to start training 3 times a week to build up my momentum and stamina.

I’m Still Alive

It’s been a while … I kinda forgot that I have a blog … =P

Life has been ups & downs …. and draining …. I just get by each day with no purposes in life for the past two months ….

But I’m picking myself up now ….. and filled my calendar with a few social activities … now that i’m back to single & available status … again ….

I don’t want to talk about the past two months … I want to forget about everything that happened ….

I’m looking forward to the months ahead … with much social activities … with newfound activities … with some new friends …

I need to think positively … chin up gal! =)
