Wanted to blog about the happy purchases I got over the weekend …. but the sudden sad news about the dragonboat tragedy in Cambodia makes me feels so lost ….. I don’t know any of them, but have been reading the news on newspaper and TV these few days. Tears falls whenever I read the newspaper about them.

I was quarrelling with the BF over the weekend and was so mad that I wanted a break-up. Couldn’t sleep a wink last night and was feeling so depressed this morning until I read The Straits Times, Life Section on Bernard’s article, and realised how life is so fragil and how his gf stood by him all these while.
Then, I saw these words on someone’s blog:

I decided to make peace with the BF this evening.
One word to describe this crazy craze ….. overrated! Nothing special about these donuts …. Queued so long and yet most of the popular flavours are sold out and have to wait at least 30 mins for the fresh ones … Didn’t have the patience to wait, so ended up with only 4 flavors to try. Disappointed. 
终于看完”溏心风暴”了！很久没有这么认真地看完一部40 集的港剧了。 哭得稀里哗啦的。 不过结尾有点日让我有少需的失望。还好是个开心的结局。很喜欢剧里的演员。夏雨、李司棋、關菊英, 陈豪、王宗泽, 鍾嘉欣, 林峰!!! 人与人之间的关系情感很让人感动!! 那种默默付出不为一己之利的守护天使很感动很感动!!!

Due to the ongoing Writers Guild Of America strike that started this week, there are doubts that alot of TV shows will be cut short. Some late night shows have already stopped production because of no scripts!! And my current fav show, Heroes, might just ended at episode 11 instead of 23! How can this be happening!!!!
Read from some forum hat Curry Favor opened a second outlet at Novena Square recently, and we decided to swing by for lunch last Thursday. I must say, the japanese curry is sooooo goood that I wish I could have more! Its not too sweet (which japanese curry tend to be), peppery enough and generous servings. The novena outlet is much bigger than their main outlet at Stamford House. And the best part …. they have rootbeer! hee 
Oh .. we also saw a huge poster that Donut Factory is opened there. Because of limited lunch hour, we didn’t go search for the donuts … I hope the queue won’t be as long as the one in Raffles City.
