I finally gave in and created my profile in facebook …… now I know why people are so hooked on it ……… including myself ……
I have been receiving many emails from friends to join them in facebook these past two weeks or so ….. even received one from the boss this morning! :O
What’s up with this Facebook thingy??? It looks like another Friendster to me ….
Nah … I’m not going to be a nun or anythin ..
Just as I was complaining about my job on Sunday entry, a headhunter called me yesterday afternoon, presenting three opportunities. However, not really the type of industry I’m looking at, and also don’t really have the regional exposure I’m looking for. But one of the opportunities seems interesting … a well-known name in the media/entertainment industry ….. hmmmm … let’s see how it goes.
On a seperate note, I just heard Jay Chou’s new song over the radio … I almost fell off the chair …. 风格好不一样!
Work is driving me nuts. Working almost 7 days a week is no joke. I’m very unhappy with this job. Relationships with some fellow colleagues is not that rosy either … sigh …. seriously thinking of looking for another job … a regional role so that I can travel to different places … wanting to get out of here … the job, the home, everything ……
The BF is off to Tokyo this whole week for business … and left me all alone here in SG. So what did I do? I sat through all 23 episodes of Heroes Season 1 in one weekend! And now, I’m abit obsessed and catching season 2 online! My eye dark circles is sooooo getting worse … hee
Back to boring work days tomorrow again ………. yucks …..
Managed to get into Hong Kong in one piece. Fever finally subsided on Wednesday evening and I was OK to go to HK the next day. Trip to HK was pretty ok, though I didn’t get to eat much because of the “damaged” stomach before the trip.
We stayed at the Marriott Hotel, club floor level. Everything in the hotel is so nice that I wished I can stay there forever. Rooms are big with two queen-sized beds. There is also free flow of mineral water and finger food at the club level.
Did alot of shopping in HK. I will faint when I receive the credit card statement soon. Bought stuff from the Espirit Factory Outlet, Uniqlo, H&M and Bossini Factory Outlet. Bought lots of skincare and cosmestics too. Now my cupboard is filled fully to the max! Not a single tiny space available in the cupboard.
Friend bought me to eat very nice portuguese egg tart at the basement of Excelsior hotel, very tasty dim-sum, desserts from 许留山,and not forgetting the 公仔面。Didn’t do much touristy stuff … just went up to the Peak for the night view.
Overall, quite a relaxing trip where I get a chance to rest and not think about work. Am already planning a next trip ….. perhaps to Macau next.
